Have you ever felt like you were working hard, but gaining no traction?
We’re taught by our parents, friends, and co-workers to work hard and everything will be okay.
But common sense isn’t always right!
The problem with assuming working hard will equate to good results is that it completely misses the idea of leveraging the right information.
That’s okay because today we’ll talk about three steps to working smart not hard, so you can get the results you want in life.
If the axe is full and it’s edge unsharpened, more strength is needed, but skill will bring success.
Ecclesiastes 10:10
- Learn from your mistakes: We cannot grow and learn if we don’t first learn from our own mistakes.
- Learn from OPE (Other People’s Experiences): This can be in the form of books or mentors. Books and mentors can be a great way to learn from others.
- Build a habit of lifelong learning: Never assume you know everything. Learn everyday and schedule time to call a mentor or read a new book. The most important thing is that the author must have the result you’re looking for. Do due diligence on them prior to consuming that information.
That’s it for today. Hope you continue to reap the benefits of levered hard work through applying skill!
