How to get the new hire to follow the sales manager, not the top sales rep

Let’s imagine, you just hired a new rep. And they see the top sales reps numbers. They love them.

But the top sales rep has lots of bad habits. Today, because she built her book of business cold calling years back, she sits and enjoys time without taking the right steps to prospect.

How do you stop the new hire from following this behavior?

Well, I recommend setting the stage in the beginning…

“Hey, so (insert top rep) is going to try to convince you to work like them, but we used to do things differently. T

he way I’m training you today is exactly what works best going from $0 to top producing fast.

So, if anything comes up from them just remember what I telling you. I’m teaching you this way because it works.”
