I remember in college there was a point when my grades stunk. I had lots of free time and obvious ability to do well. I just couldn’t get myself to study.
That’s when I had a brilliant idea. “If I just go to the library and surround myself with others studying, maybe that will be easier to get on track.”
I did it. And it worked like butter. I ended up studying for hours focused with no distractions.
In life, we must remain objective to where we are slipping and remove ourselves from bad environments. This frees time to place ourselves in healthy environments.
Remain objective to see where you’re slipping. Pull yourself out of the bad environments. Place yourself in better ones. Watch and enjoy how environments champion willpower.
