Have you ever wanted to make a ton of money?
Did this striving stimulate healthy activity or just create insatiable desire?
In Tim Ferriss’ book “The Four Hour Workweek” he mentions that people don’t lack money, they lack creativity.
I believe it to be true 🙂
There are plenty of activities to enjoy and intellectual pursuits that go far beyond the dollar.
For example:
A simple coffee and walk $2.00
Checking out books from a public library FREE
Spending time in a hammock in a park FREE
Building a life we enjoy may not encompass all the traditional “luxuries,” but those “luxuries” are often like sugar…
… they taste good at first, but can have painful effects if used or consumed in excess.
The two traits that every entrepreneur and person may benefit from are…
…resourcefulness and creativity!
When we work to cultivate more creativity and resourcefulness… we can ask ourselves better questions… like…
What am I really trying to accomplish here?
Is there a better way to do it?
Can it be done more simply and without extravagance?
Anyway… just some thoughts today as I ponder these two traits.
Creativity and resourcefulness are vital to living a full and rich life— today! Not next year. Not one day. But TODAY!
Cheers,
Brock
